Internet Time, also known as Swatch Internet Time or Beats, is a decimal time concept introduced by the Swatch company in 1998. It divides the day into 1000 beats, where 1 beat is equivalent to 1 minute and 26.4 seconds. Beats will always be the same no matter your location on earth. It's timezone-free!
